Hip replacement surgery is a reliable and dependable pain relieving operation.  At the Arkansas Minimally Invasive Orthopaedic Institute, Dr. Russell Allison tailors each replacement to meet the patient's specific needs.

Dr. Allison uses several different types of hip prosthesis to match the patientís particular size, shape, and bone quality.  Each patientís needs, home and work situations, x-rays and expectations are carefully considered in designing the exact components and approach which will best serve that patient.  Click on the buttons on the left side of the screen for a short description of the types of hip replacements available and some thoughts on what Dr. Allison uses and why.
